Pro Human Writes is written by Scott MacKillop, a freelance writer, broadcast producer and publicist based in Sydney, Australia.
Scott has produced metropolitan news/talk radio for major commercial networks and is a contributer to News Limited’s opinion and news website The Punch.
Scott believes that sarcasm is the highest and most effective form of humour, despite what he is constantly told by friends, family and his long-suffering girlfriend.
A strong proponent of civil liberties, Scott considers himself somewhat of a social commentator, which is often a source of amusement for professional social commentators.
His tendency to throw tact to the wind and run, foaming at the mouth, toward any opportunity to be politically incorrect has earned him the nickname ‘Scott the Inappropriate’ from those who know him, and from the many who wish they didn’t.
Scott hopes that Pro Human Writes entertains and offers a new, and hopefully unique perspective on the often confusing and illogical goings on in this crazy world. Pro Human Writes aims to cut through some of society’s bullshit, which is ironic, since Scott has been known to be full of it himself.
